In response to attendee and exhibitor feedback, the American Composites Manufacturer's Association (ACMA) announced that it will move the next COMPOSITES & POLYCON to early 2009. The association is exploring several first-rate venue options for the show.

ACMA President John Tickle made the announcement at the COMPOSITES & POLYCON 2007 Awards Luncheon, saying “We have heard a lot from our manufacturers and suppliers about the challenges caused by having competing shows located so close in time to COMPOSITES & POLYCON.”

“I can't say enough good things about this year's COMPOSITES & POLYCON show,” said Nancy Layman, CEO of Zyvax Inc, Boca Raton, Fla.

“We've made some terrific contacts and leads. I'm certain that moving the next show to early 2009 will be even better for us, and we'll see even more exhibitors and attendees.”

“We are thrilled at the thought of the show being pushed forward because it give us some space between shows,” said Margaret Free, Corporate Secretary of Frees Inc, Shreveport, La, a long-time ACMA member and show exhibitor.

“We came to one trade show a week ago and then came here. By moving the show, we won't have two shows in the same quarter.
ACMA's change will renew enthusiasm for the COMPOSITES & POLYCON show.”

George Aaron, Chairman and CEO of Mahogany, Mays Landing, N.J, also is pleased with the announced change. “It's nice to have shows spaced out so that we don't have to scramble, especially the marine folks who have customers at both shows.
