Reliant Coolstream laminates flexible films & textiles for composites

Reliant recently launched its latest Powerbond HPC modular lamination and compression system. Based on the well-proven Powerbond laminator, the HPC version offers all of the advantages of the Powerbond modular system.

The modular construction enables the equipment to be designed for the purpose of using standard modules. The advantage is that at a very sensible equipment cost, customers can have a Powerbond HPC machine that will produce to the required specifications with a very high degree of flexibility.

The HPC version is being launched specifically for composites and compression assemblies where materials need to have controlled lamination and/or compression applied during the heating and cooling stages while still enabling a continuous process to run.

It is ideal for processing composites involving aramid, fibreglass, carbon and other similar fibers, which may be presented in sheet form, rovings or continuous rolls.

Reliant also offers a medium weight Coolstream GOS lamination system. The Coolstream laminates flexible films and textiles for composites including fibreglass, aramid and foams.

Available in widths up to 1800 mm, the Coolstream is already widely used in the defence, automotive and other similar industrial markets.
