Italian apparel brands dominate domestic market

China is one of the main suppliers of clothing, accessories, yarns, fabrics and other products to Italy and imports high-end products from this region. Recently, exports of Chinese clothing to that country has increased, however these include very few domestic brands and mostly foreign brands, that have manufacturing facility in China.

Lately, Italian enterprises are intrigued by this market and many famous clothing brands have set up the offices and franchise shops in China. Few Italian enterprises and designers plan to advocate cooperation with Chinese counterparts. Italian top-grade enterprises like ZEGNA invested a huge amount to increase their brands' efficiency in China.

According to statistical data, Italian apparel brands accounted for over 36 percent of the total number of foreign brands which entered Chinese market and now they are dominating this market amongst all.
