The production of knitted clothes accounts for over 50 percent of the clothing industry since last year and is expected to grab 65 percent of international market.
The quality of domestically produced knitted clothes has been greatly enhanced. In recent years, demand for comfortable, healthy and fashionable knitted products has increased and to meet the needs of consumers, the industry is developing various types of new fabrics.
Now the more attention is towards creating functional fabrics. People, recently, are preferring to indulge in healthy wear.
Experts believe, although this industry in China is growing, the road to further development is full of difficulties and challenges, like low improvement in the pollution outlets, little labor efficiency, pressure of the rising value of RMB, absence of high investment and little interest from famous brands.
Inspite of these complicated situations, professionals in the field believe that the knitting industry has a bright future and will grow swiftly.
