P.Miller to fight back against frivolous Pepe Jeans lawsuit

"I guess they didn't do their homework. I am also filing a countersuit against Nitin, Arun, and Milan Shah and Pepe Jeans London, LLC for tortious interference with my business and future business with Wal-Mart. And since they saw fit to go after my retailer, I will return the favor and file suit against several of their retailers like Macy's, Dr. Jay's, Nordstrom, and Eastbay."

From a legal perspective, government trademark authorities have reviewed the issue and concluded that P. Miller Designs' activities do not constitute trademark infringement. The P. Miller Designs circled-P mark is clearly distinguishable from the logos asserted against it by Pepe Jeans, and in all likelihood their suit will fail.
