The Tianjin Industrial University and the Dagang District Government recently signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation in research. As part of the agreement between the two sides, the fibre interface technology industrialization project of Tianjin Industrial University will be set up in Dagang District.
It has been learnt that the fibre interface technology industrialization project will transfer the results of the project to industries located in New Binhai area of Dagang district, which will promote technological innovation and development of chemicals and new material industries.
R & D efforts are focused on development of bulk textile auxiliaries, which will help in transforming low-grade products into high-grade products and thereby enhance value of bulk textile products. The project will also develop high performance fibres and in turn promote development of industrial fibres.
The project is also expected to develop new and better processing technologies in downstream industries of the large ethylene project in New Binhai Area, to realize better industrial returns from this project.
The project is scheduled to attract a total investment of 150 million Yuan and construction will be divided in three phases. After the project begins full operations, it is expected to generate annual output value of 300 million Yuan with profits amounting to 50 million Yuan.
