In the just concluded seven days, polyester filament trend in Changshu market stabilized after a rally. In the initial days, trade volume enlarged first and then market prices tended to move slightly higher.
Conventional varieties of FDY or DTY rose 100-200 Yuan per ton in the week. FDY 68D/24F was quoted at 11,200-11,300 Yuan per ton, 75D/36F at 11,000-11,100 Yuan per ton and 150D/96F at 10,000-10,100 Yuan per ton.
Conventional DTY category 75D/36F was quoted at 12,300 Yuan per ton, 100D/36F at 11,700 Yuan per ton and 150D/48F at 10500-10600 Yuan per ton, while bright FDY filament 75D, focused at 11,100-11,200 Yuan per ton.
Polyester / polyester composite filament (50 +50) witnessed a certain amount of trade volume and current prices stood at about 11,800 Yuan per ton. Polyester filament price is expected show a smooth adjustment next week.
Sales of DTY yarn 100D, 150D (colored) were moderate. Supply and demand of DTY150D/144F was balanced; market sales of DTY75D network filament increased. It is mainly used in production of velvet and mesh fabrics.
