Cationic POY and DTY yarn prices consolidated in the previous week (March 15 -20) days), product sales were light, market performance of cationic FDY was better, but price trend was slightly suppressed.
Market prices of FDY100D and 150D focused at 12,900-13,000 Yuan / ton and 12,600-12,700 Yuan / ton, respectively, in Shengze markets at the weekend, down 100 Yuan from previous week.
Sales of FDY63D and 75D were better, as they are directly and blended with DTY75D to produce jacquard-woven lining and jacquard imitated hemp fashion woven.
DTY150D/36F price stood at 13,200 Yuan / ton at the weekend; prices of POY50D/48F and 75D/36F focused at 12,500 Yuan / ton and 12,300 ton/ton, respectively, not much fluctuation compared with the previous week.
FDY spinning plants face no inventory pressure, resulting in flat moving of cationic products. But polyester filament market was significantly weak at the weekend and procurement trend in downstream sector was careful.
So cationic filament quotes are expected to undergo a weak adjustment next week.
