In the Asian markets, benzene fell US $19 from the previous day, to close at $937-940 per ton (FOB Korea). In the Chinese domestic markets, prices of benzene were on the ascent.

Market price in East China ranged between 7,400-7,500 Yuan / ton, in South China it stood at 7,300-7,400 Yuan / ton, while in North China Benzene was quoted at 7,300-7,400 Yuan / ton.

While overseas offers decline, China's domestic benzene market still rises, due to the impact of high level consolidation of oil prices. Market participants expect that domestic benzene market will turn better.
