Caprolactam prices continued to go up. New price assessed around RMB 22900/ton, while offers were light. Imported Caprolactam was in range of US$ 2720/ton to US$ 2750/ton.
Nylon chips prices increased with the firm support from high feedstock prices. Nylon chip in Chinese market assessed around RMB 24200/ton.
Price hike in Caprolactam market was around 2.6 percent in the last four days. Large scale production units raised the prices due to high cost of raw materials.
Price hike of Nylon POY, FDY and DTY were low in comparisons of its upper stream products. Nylon Filament producers are worried about their profit margin and they have targeted to hike prices in near feature.
