Caprolactam prices continued to go up. New price assessed around RMB 23000/ton. Costlier offers of Caprolactam became a challenge for the downstream textile producers as it was hard for them to pass on the price to next level.
Nylon chips prices increased with the firm support from high feedstock prices. Nylon chip in Chinese market was assessed around RMB 24500/ton. Price hike in Nylon Chips market was around 3.8 percent in the last ten days.
Nylon filament yarn producers faced cost pressure due to firm feedstock prices. Nylon FDY price increased by RMB 100/ton from RMB 27600/ton to RMB 27700/ton while Nylon POY and DTY prices remain unchanged.
