According to a study conducted by ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification) utilising the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method, the production of 1 kg of Newlife allows a reduction of energy consumption amounting to 60%, a decrease in CO2 emissions of 32% and a savings of water amounting to 94% compared to virgin polyester. A lot for the USA to appreciate!

Newlife is the product of an ambitious project developed by Filatura di Saluzzo (formerly Filature Miroglio). It is a unique, integrated and certified* system producing recycled polyester filament yarns sourced 100% from post-consumer bottles, processed into a polymer through a mechanical, not chemical, process and spun into yarn entirely in Italy, thanks to an exclusive horizontal partnership agreement.
