TH decision is part of the Donald Trump administration's efforts to revive the US shipbuilding industry and reduce China's dominance in the sector.
"We urge the US side to respect the facts and multilateral rules, immediately cease its wrongdoings. China will take necessary measures to firmly safeguard its legitimate rights and interests," Lin was quoted as saying by a state-controlled media outlet.
