Used fur and taxidermy products, leather, cowhide and shearling are exempt from the ban. Fur products used for religious purposes or by native American tribes are exempt as well. Fur lawfully taken with a hunting license is allowed.
The ban also won’t apply to faux fur, generally made from plastics.
