It has been nearly two weeks since July 1 when the state cut import tariffs on 33 categories of goods including energy and textile raw materials.

Some officials of a number of foreign trade enterprises say that the benefits of current favorable policy have just now started emerging.

Prices of raw materials began to decline, imports relatively increased, and in future, prices of final products are also expected to moderately decline.

It might prove to be a significant tool in restraining inflation, expanding domestic demand and enhancing export advantage.

But industrial people also say that cost pressures of manufacturing will always exist and companies have to really solve their own problems by tapping their potential.

In this tariff adjustment, tariff barriers of a few textile products have significantly reduced.

Products enjoying tariff reduction include tents, inflatable mattresses, blended fabric, linen yarn and other textile raw materials.
