The Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation of Guangdong Province issued on 11 January 2006 a notice sgned by Hugo CHIU concerning the transfer of quantitative limits of textile exports allocated based on performance, which took effect from the day of promulgation.
The notice sets out the application procedures on transfer of quantitative limits of textile exports allocated based on performance.
It also stipulates that the existing "Operational Measures for the Transfer of 2006 Quantitative Limits of Textile Exports Allocated Based on Performance" has been abolished.

In addition, the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangzhou Municipality (the Bureau) issued on 4 January 2006 a notice concerning application for the transfer of quantitative limits of textile exports.
The notice sets out the documents to be provided by enterprises in the Guangzhou municipality applying for transfer of quantitative limits of textile exports to the European Union and the United States, with relevant contact information provided. The notice is attached at Appendix 2 (pdf format) for reference.
