Handicrafts craftsmen and artisans are urged to send their best works for the Annual National Awards Competition, organized by the Central Handicrafts Promotion Authority.
The chosen participants will be rewarded with a merit certificate and Rs50000 cash.
Aspiring artists can apply through the District Industries Centre Manager, Tiruvarur, or the Assistant Director (Handicrafts), Handicrafts Sales and Service Promotion Centre, Pondicherry.
The person is required to submit application in the prescribed form and specimens of their select entries by April 30 2006.
