The Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province issued on 22 February 2006 an urgent notice concerning official signing requirements for licenses for textile exports to the European Union.
It stipulates that in accordance with the "Notice Concerning the Issuance of Relevant Licenses for Textile Exports to the European Union" issued by the Quota and License Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, official signing is required for documents relating to export of textile products to the European Union like certificates of origin, provisional licenses for 10 categories of textile products and certificates of hand-made products.
