Textile summit is organized today under the aegis of Istanbul Ready-Wear and Confection Exporters' Union (IHKIB).
The summit is chaired by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Addressing the summit, Suleyman Orakcioglu, Chairman of IHKIB said that the union would stress that no producer can sell his products with an overvalued currency.
Moreover, he added that the union would talk to Erdogan on its views about the sector's problems.
In this connection, Turkish Exporters' Union (TIM) President Oguz Satici said that exporters would continue to produce and export even if the summit does not reach its goals.
