A four day Bangladesh trade fair organised jointly by Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Embassy of Bangladesh, was inaugurated by Trade and Industry Minister, Lyonpo Yeshey Zimba in Thimphu.
The fair is expected to develop business contacts and help strengthen bilateral trade relations between Bhutan and Bangladesh.
A wide range of products and services is being showcased such as, melamine tablewares, cosmetics, handicrafts, pharmaceuticals, confectioneries, toiletries, furniture, handlooms, garments and construction materials.
Ambassador of Bangladesh to Bhutan, Mr. Inamul Kabir, Bangladesh's Commerce Secretary Mr. Shirajun Islam, BCCI Vice President Dasho Bap Kinga and senior government officials were present at the inaugural ceremony.
