Party time for textile processing industry as Government has extended the 10 percent subsidy for one year.
Textile processing sector has been weakest and highly fragmented one in textile industry, so to keep it performing well, Central Government has decided to extend the 10 percent capital subsidy scheme meant for the sector by one year till 31 March 2007, said J N Singh Textile Commissioner.
Scheme has been jointly launched with Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (TUFS), this facility was applicable for one year only but considering the growth potential of industry it was further extended, said J N Singh.
