A County Tyrone textile company will be downing its shutters and in the process, causing 200 jobs losses.
Strabane-based hosiery firm Adria said that the closure is necessitated due to an increase in competition within the sector.
A spokesperson for Adria said that the firm employed dedicated management team and a loyal workforce but economics of the world related to the textile sector has been unfavorable to Adria.
The closure announcement comes after around 360 jobs were axed last year, and a further 65 jobs struck off the muster just before Christmas.
With these cuts, the struggling company will be left with a workforce of 40 in the Strabane area.
