Govt to appoint foreign consultants for garment sector

Government is thinking over the proposal to appoint foreign consultants for advancement of technology used in garment industry.
This will increase exporters' competitiveness in garment business and they will be able to improve productivity with cost cutting policies.
Dr Salman Shah, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance, during his visit to the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), said that textile firms should hire foreign consultants to enhance efficiency and survive in global competitive market.
