Textile park may serve the cause of ailing industry

Ailing textile industry require a booster in the form of textile parks in Kanpur, stated Rajendra Trivedi, General Secretary of National Textile Corporation (NTC), Uttar Pradesh.
Trivedi also emphasized to on tackling unemployment problem plaguing the state.
In a request letter to the Union and State Government for selecting one of the venues for the proposed 'Textile Park' in Kanpur, he urged that from among all closed major NTC mills, at least one should be restarted.
Trivedi opined that more employment could be generated if government fulfills both these demands.
Moreover, he said that basic infrastructure of Kanpur would facilitate government to build textile park and set wheels in motion for revival of mills.
