Centre responsible for ailing textile mills of Kanpur

Union government has turned a blind eye to the repeated requests of reviving ailing textile mills, which comprise the largest industrial share of Kanpur, complained Dr Ashok Bajpai, State Agriculture Minister, Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing a meeting of NTC Staff Association, Bajpai assured that state government would extend all possible help to revive mills of Kanpur.
Moreover, the Minister asked General Secretary of the Association, Rajendra Trivedi to plan a meeting with state textile minister to find solutions of sick textile mills and discuss future plans by state government.
He also promised that if the issue would not be settled by the state, he would bring it to the notice of Shankersinh Vaghela, Union Textile Minister.
