Luca Cordero calls for protection of 'Made in Italy' brand

'Made in Italy' brand must become a protected public trademark, emphasized Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Chairman of Confindustria (Italian manufacturers' Confederation) while addressing assembly of Italian footwear businesses.
He stated that country's business has spread all over the world and it must be protected at all cost.
He added that country should protect and boost existing brands as creating new brands would be a grave mistake.
