Vardhman Polytex retail biz goes fastrack

Vardhman has entered into retailing of casual, semi-casual and intimate wear through 25 outlets selling its own brands AO`s and SENSA.
The company is expected to open 45 more outlets by December 2006 and its center of attention is to sell garments overseas.
Vardhman Polytex will be expanding its capacity from 75,000 spindles to 1.33 lakh spindles and is expected to report an EPS of Rs.8.9 in FY07E.
