Merger of towns and villages into cities is the motto adopted by Government of Fuoshan to promote local textile industry.
A new textile base will be constructed by the end of this year housing more than 1000 textile factories.
Government declared that all the towns are required to develop local industry according to their own situation.
However, Government also added that textile industry would be given preference to other trades in financial plan.
The new policy targets to raise competition among local textile industry.
