Textiles to get incentive in new trade policy

Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar Khan is scheduled to announce new trade policy today which provides incentive to the textile sector.
According to the policy guidelines, metropolis will have special Garment Cities to encourage this sector.
New trade policy would be in line with the WTO guidelines with special attention given to issues like Free Trade Agreement and trade negotiations.
New policy proposes constitution of Trade Development Authority along with other important decisions.
