China Government has warned domestic textile enterprises that use of fake certificates of original place to export products to the US and the EU would be severely punished.
Transhipment has emerged as a serious problem in China as exporters try to use quotas in other countries and also avoid paying duties.
Custom reports reveal that since last year, Chinese textile exports to the US and the EU have slowed, and have shifted to nearby countries and areas.
China has commanded that local authorities track down the activities of local textile firms and hand in related report for this month.
