Institute for Economic Research and Development has partnered with the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District to develop business street.
This project will be developed in Lan Ong street and Hang Gai Street, where former will sell oriental medicines and later one will deal into only silk products.
In Lan Ong Street, more than 90 percent of inhabitants are engaged in producing oriental medicine with 74 retail shops, while in Hang Gai Street, 91 retail shops are selling silk products and service.
Common things between the retailers of these two streets are that all shops will sell products at the same listed price framework, with clear origins.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District, Hoang Cong Khoi announced Lan Ong Street as a street for oriental medicine. He also announced that 70 percent shops in Hang Gai Street would deal in silk products and remaining would in services related to silk.
