Breakdown of Doha talks has reduced chances of decrease in global duty cuts for the moment. One of the sectors where duty cuts are most contentious is the textile.

The failure of Doha talks is going to affect Chinese textile export as the rise in global demand mainly depends on the consumption of America and EU.

In China, export of textile from private sector has been on the rise whereas, the share of government owned enterprises has been declining constantly.
