Cheap labour cost lures Thai textile companies

Office of Vietnam Commercial Affairs in Thailand reported that textile and apparel companies are planning to shift their production facilities to Vietnam to improve their competitiveness.

Thai companies are shifting their production units to Vietnam as labour is cheaper by 20 to 30 percent than labour in Thailand.

Vietnam is about to enter in Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the US which would benefit more to Thai companies, informed industrial experts.
