Recently, bilateral talks were held with the EU in Finland, regarding the anti-dumping dispute that is disturbing the economic relations.

However China's request to accept it as a complete market economy status was rejected yet again.

José Manuel Barroso, Chairman, EC, pointed out four chief obstacles that persists, namely, Governmental force, accountant rule, bankruptcy law and the innovation of financial service.

China expressed deep concern about these issues but suggested that complete market economy status would reflect healthy bilateral respect and equality that will boost trade.

At present, Sino-EU annual trade value is around US $255 billion.
