Finance Minister P Chidambaram has cleared 26 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) proposals worth Rs992.84 crore.
FDI proposals include Rs342 crore of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, British Gas Energy Holding Limited's project of supplying natural gas and commercial usage worth Rs405 crore.
Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation in collaboration with six other companies of Japan will invest in MCC PTA India Corp Pvt Ltd to manufacture and market Purified Terephthalic Acid.
