United Kingdom and Italy have reached tacit agreement to levy 'sanction' tax rate on imports of leather shoes from China and Vietnam.
Italy has also sought support of European Union for imposing new tax rates on leather shoes imports from Vietnam and China irrespective of UK's participation.
Proposal of imposing anti-dumping duties of 16 percent on Chinese leather shoes and 10 percent on Vietnamese leather shoes is being supported by 12 countries and opposed by 13 countries.
