In an action to EC's official anti–dumping duties on Vietnamese leather shoes of 10 percent, Vietnam Leather and Shoes Association–Lefaso advised enterprises to accept the tax and encouraged them to continue exporting the goods to this giant market.
"This tax is lower than costs that are paid by importers who want to lift their orders to other countries. So, they are still willing to continue ordering goods from Vietnam", Le Duc Thuan, Vice Chairman, Lefaso said.
In the same opinion with the association, many enterprises of Vietnam believe that two-year duration of the tariff was reasonable since this period of time was enough for firms to expand markets other than EU as well as diversify products.
