During the Africa City Meet recently held in Nairobi, the dealers from Kenya assumed that they desired Chinese equipments and the design and prices of Chinese products were very appropriate for Kenya.
They also revealed that Chinese equipments could easily got repaired compared to the western equipments.
Last year, the trade between China and Kenya was worth US $475 million at an increasing rate of 29.7 percent.
Traditional equipment like clothing and textile, engine equipment is also very popular in Kenya.
Currently, traders from Kenya have been directly visiting China to purchase goods to ensure product quality and meanwhile, they also keep track of the reports on Chinese products.
