Govt to extend tax benefits in quake-hit Kutch

Government intends to stretch the tax concessions in Kutch, Gujarat, until 2007 so that the industries could reap the benefits to re-establish production units in the coming months.

Textile Ministry further informed that the proposal needed to be approved by the Finance Ministry.
