Positive progress made for bilateral trade

On successful conclusion of the fourth round of talks on Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan and China, both countries resolved to complete the negotiations at an early date to sign the FTA. It is expected to be signed during Chinese President's visit to Pakistan.

Positive progress has been made in the three day talks and the two sides discussed issues concerning market access, health, trade and investment.

The bilateral trade hit US $4.26 billion, an increase of 39 percent from last year.
