Season of SEZs is in full bloom in Andhra Pradesh (AP) as Vrindavan Group signed an MoU with AP Government for setting up a textile SEZ in Chittoor district of AP.
With this park, Government also expects investment of Rs500 crore, which include infrastructure facilities. Government officials foresee production of 120 million pieces per annum.
This textile park would incorporate manufacturers of housing garments and home furnishing with employment generation of about 20000 people.
Occupying the area of 500 acres, the textile SEZ would welcome apparel units including Kabadi Shakarsa, JVS Exports, SPL Industries Limited, Sabare International, Venus Garments, and Texport Syndicate besides Vrindavan Carpets and Vrindavan Overseas.
