Thai Durable plans to change core business

Thai Durable Group Plc (TDT) is planning to change its business to property development. The company has closed down all its yarn, fabrics and garment factories and currently employs only 61 staffs.

Earlier company was having 1,045 employees but to reduce operating cost and debt burden, it cut down its labour cost.

For first six months there was negative cash flow of 90.97 million and loss of 2.22 billion baht.

Auditors issued disclaimer to company due to uncertainty about the company's assets and the effects of depreciation charges during company's second-quarter financial statements.

TDT has not paid loan to two banks, amounting to Baht695 million as of June 30, is 80 percent of total liabilities.
