It's westward flight in textile and garment industry of the dragon country, China. The strategic shift to An Hui, a province in western China, is followed by many clothing units of Jiang Su and Zhejiang provinces due to convenient transportation and cheap labour force.

Chinese textile industry now moves to west as eastern China has become more expensive in terms of raw materials, labourers and land prices. Moreover, environmental laws are stricter.

At present, the textile clothing industry in An Hui province is rapidly developing. So far, there are around 200 big clothing units. It is estimated that over 30 big clothing units will be shifted to Hefei city based in An Hui province next year.
