In order to take steps for enhancing competitiveness of US and Dominican textile sectors, Dominican trade office will hold a meeting with United States Trade Office (USTO) in January 2007 at Santo Domingo.
Jose Torres, Vice President, Dominican Association of Duty Free Zones (AOZONA), announced this. He opined that conditions laid down for Dominican Republic under the FTA with US and Central America could be revised as a result of this meeting.
Both private and public sectors will attend the meeting.
