Government has reduced rebate rate of textile products from 13 percent to 11 percent.
To protect local industries from the loss by reduction in rebate rate, Government of Fujian province came up with following policies.
1)Textile units should take full advantage of policies and financial supports provided by the Government.
2)Manufacturers should develop their own brands.
3)Textile units should develop natural fibres like bamboo fibre, soybean fibre etc.
4)The enterprises should meet the textile standards set by International Textile Association of Environmental Protection.
