The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) gave its approval for increasing the target under the Scheme for Integrated Textile Park to develop 30 (Thirty) Integrated Textile Parks during the Tenth Five Year Plan, including the 26 projects sanctioned so far as against the 25 approved, without any change in the existing funding pattern and other parameters.

Development of additional park will facilitate additional investment, employment generation and increase in textile production.

All the Textile Parks would be sanctioned by March 2007 and projects would be completed in 2008-09.
