This month, Government is going to measure body size of 25,000 school children between ages of 4 to 17 years for formulating national standards.
This exercise will equip Government with information like physical structure of minors in different groups and gender, for preparation of national standards.
This data will be utilized in preparation of five national standards like 'clothing size of minors'. These standards will assist apparel, leather and other industries to meet basic needs of children in the country.
