For members of Stree Shakati groups for the purpose of empowering women a five day entrepreneurial development training camp was conducted in Gulbarga recently.
The training camp was a boon, as a number of women from different self help groups (SHGs) attended and participated in the training.
Training was provided in dress designing and embroidery by Parivarthan institution.
Deputy Director of women and children M Radhakrishna exhorted self help group members to organise themselves and take part in income generating activities. This effort by them will be of great help to their families and they can thus contribute to economic prosperity of society.
