In past few years, Shanghai has played important role in free trade agreements and has emerged as leading city for clothing and apparel.
Due to this reason, Municipal Government has decided to set up Shanghai Garment Machinery City in Feng Jing town of Jinshan district.
This city will be developed in association with Shanghai Clothing City, Shanghai International Garment Machinery Trade Center and Feng Jing Logistics Center.
It has already registered 1,200 shops for carrying out business and includes traders and dealers from Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces.
Traders will mainly deal in parts of machinery, textile and servicing of machines etc.
