Textile and apparel enterprises of Henan province plan to set up an overseas industrial zone this year. They will also introduce their brands abroad by using national funds.
Henan sources informed that the Government will encourage big companies to participate in foreign resource development. Chinese textile and garment sectors may also drive domestic industries like electronics, building materials and machinery to access global markets.
2007 is the 'African year of foreign economic co-operation of Henan province'. Henan will act as a platform for Chinese firms to explore African markets through investment meets and project introductions.
